See You in Denver!

denver-skyline

Tomorrow morning, I’m catching the first flight out from Victoria to Seattle and transferring to Denver from there. To say I’m prepared for #FinCon12 would be an absolute lie, as my life was basically turned upside down last week (in a good way – more on that next week) and I have had little-to-no spare time to research and make plans. But my bags are packed, my budget is set, and I’ll just have to be ready for whatever events come my way this week/weekend!

On Wednesday, I’m most looking forward to meeting up with Carrie and planning out my time in Denver. I’d like to go on at least one walking tour on Thursday afternoon, before attending the Welcome Reception. I imagine Friday and Saturday will be full of learning, engagement, and social activities. And, before flying out on Sunday evening, I’d like to squeeze in a little shopping (why pay double the price for new boots in Canada?).

If anyone wants to meet for a morning #pfworkout, I plan on hitting the gym at least two of the four days. And you all know I’ll happily meet you for a coffee at Starbucks anytime. Tweet me @blondeonabudget, if you want to connect!

See you in Denver, friends!

  5. Cait, I’m so glad I got to meet you for coffee at Starbucks while in Denver (by chance, no less!) and get to know you. It was one of the highlights of the trip! I can understand now why your writing has such a thoughtful and fun quality to it. I’m looking forward to reading your blog even more now that I know you. :)
