Weekly Spending: January 21-27, 2013
The beginning of this week shows, once again, how easy it is to spend too much by simply not meal planning. But I’m removing any chance of that happening again this week. So far this weekend, I’ve made a dozen muffins, a quiche and a crockpot full of vegetarian chili. The apartment smells amazing and I have enough food to last me at least four days!
Aside from the food, I spent a little money on something that was not budgeted for this month: gifts. There are a couple birthdays, etc. that I forgot I had to send things back home for, by early to mid-February. Everything should be in the mail tomorrow morning and now I think I’m safe in the gift department until Wedding #1 in April!
That was my week! How was yours?

Good for you cooking more at home. What do you put inside your vegetarian chili? and what kind of muffins did you make? I made an Orange Ricotta Pound Cake with Yogurt Amaretto Whipped Cream served with fresh blueberries and orange slices… just posted the recipe on the blog.. awesome!!! I find the more we meal plan the less we are spending grocery shopping. Cheers Cait.
That sounds absolutely amazing! I made oatmeal chocolate chip muffins.
Hey – I’m new to this (the blogging and the debt repayment!) and would love some feedback if you ever have a chance!
Thanks!
